What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That should round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. But inform your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
